NOTICE

The Town of Clintwood hereby gives notice of a public hearing to be held on June 10, 2025, at 6:00 pm at the Clintwood Town Hall, Clintwood, Virginia for the purpose of receiving public comment on a proposed ordinance amending and adopting Title 46.2 (Motor Vehicle Code) of the Code or Virginia, 1950 as amended as the ordinances for the Town of Clintwood. A copy of the proposed ordinance is on file in the Office of the Town Clerk for interested parties to inspect.

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Urgent Need: Clintwood

Generators Project

Town of Clintwood will hold a public hearing on April 30th, 2025 at the Town Hall (248 Main Street, Clintwood, VA, 24228) at 10:00 a.m. to solicit public input on a proposed Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Urgent Need application to be submitted to the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development for the Clintwood Generators Project. Residents of the project area are encouraged to attend. The project will include the following activities: the purchase/installation of generators.

The draft CDBG Urgent Need proposal will be presented for comment along with information on projected beneficiaries, and plans to minimize displacement. Citizens will also be given the opportunity to comment on the Town of Clintwood's past use ofCDBG funds. A fact sheet on the proposed project is available at the town office. Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Urgent Need

The Town of Clintwood will hold a public hearing on April 23, 2025 at the town Hall (248 Main Street, Clintwood, VA 24228) at 10a.m. to solicit public input on local community development and housing needs in relation to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Urgent Need funding for a project in your community.

Information on the amount of funding available, requirements, eligible activities, and plans to minimize displacement and provide displacement assistance as necessary will be available. Citizens will also be given the opportunity to comment on the town's previous use of CDBG related funds. All interested parties are urged to attend.
