The Town of Clintwood is currently accepting applications for a patrol officer position in the police department. Applicants must possess a DCJS Law Enforcement Officer certification in the Commonwealth of Virginia, be at least twenty-one years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED, be in good physical condition, be a citizen of the United States, have vision correctable to 20/20, pass a drug test, and possess a valid Virginia Driver's License. Depending on qualifications and experience, the position may be either full time or part-time, and salary will be based on qualifications and experience. Applications may be picked up at the Clintwood Town Hall, 248 Clintwood Main Street, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
