Town Events Schedule for July 4th Celebration:
7-11:30 AM - Clintwood Kiwanis Club Breakfast to be held at Kid's Corner Park.
11 AM till late afternoon - Dickenson County Historical Society genealogy, book fair, and military tribute.
11 AM - VFW Post 8979 flag folding ceremony will be held in front of the historical society building located on FFA street. The meaning of each fold of the flag will be read as the flag is folded.
1 PM - Little Miss and Mister Firecracker contest and Senior Miss and Mister Bombshell contest. Registration will be held in front of the town hall from noon to 1 PM.
2 PM - July 4th parade.
3 PM - 7 PM - FREE kids rides at the old Clintwood High School baseball field.
7 PM - An evening concert will be held at Ralph Cummins Stadium with band Suthern Boyz. Food vendors will be on site.
9:30 PM - Fireworks show at dark.
