Full Time Position Available

The Town of Clintwood is accepting applications for a full time cashier/clerical position. The application/resume must be submitted to the town hall located at 248 Clintwood Main Street no later than 4:30 p.m. on November 30, 2020. Applicants with experience in customer service, processing utility payments and deposits, standard office practices and procedures, ability to operate computers, excellent math skills, and good time management skills is preferred. Applications may be picked up at the Clintwood Town Hall from 8:00 to 4:30 p.m.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Clintwood Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on November 5, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. at the Clintwood Town Hall for the purpose of receiving public comment in regards to a Special Use Exception Application from Rick Mullins, Mullins Funeral Home, to utilize the brown metal building (facing Walnut Street) at 142 Clintwood Main Street for a Crematory. The Planning Commission will hear the request on October 28, 2020, and make their recommendation to the Board of Zoning Appeals. A copy of the Town of Clintwood Zoning Ordinance and Map is available for public inspection at the Clintwood Town Hall at 248 Main Street, Clintwood, Virginia during regular business hours.
