NOTICE is hereby given that the Clintwood Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on November 5, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. at the Clintwood Town Hall for the purpose of receiving public comment in regards to a Special Use Exception Application from Rick Mullins, Mullins Funeral Home, to utilize the brown metal building (facing Walnut Street) at 142 Clintwood Main Street for a Crematory. The Planning Commission will hear the request on October 28, 2020, and make their recommendation to the Board of Zoning Appeals. A copy of the Town of Clintwood Zoning Ordinance and Map is available for public inspection at the Clintwood Town Hall at 248 Main Street, Clintwood, Virginia during regular business hours.

The Clintwood Town Council will conduct a public hearing at Council Chambers on Main Street at the Town Hall on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at 6:00 P.M. to receive public comment regarding a proposed sale agreement of Town-owned real estate located on Walnut Street with frontage along Chase Street along with an adjoining parking area.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Clintwood Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on October 7, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the Clintwood Town Hall for the purpose of receiving public comment in regards to a Special Exception Application from Journey House Group Home and the property owner, Karen Mullin, at 172 Selfe Drive. The request is to change the use from commercial to residential to occupy the property as a Developmental Disability Adult Day Support Program for their activities and recreation.
